Kelly Rowland, born February 11, 1981, is an American singer, dancer, and actress who rose to fame in the 1990s and early 2000s as one-third of the girl group Destiny’s Child. Along with group members Beyonce and Michelle Williams, the trio went on to earn two Grammy awards in 2001 and 2002. Though never officially disbanding, the trio does get together every once in a while. During Beyonce’s historic performance at Coachella, the three women reunited for a set of Destiny’s Child’s greatest hits. Apart from Destiny’s Child, though, Kelly has a successful solo career. She’s worked with artists the likes of Lil Wayne, David Guetta, and Nelly. She has also done her fair share of acting over the years.
